IntroductionThis tutorial will show how recolorST can be used to remove color stains from your images and scans. Our example image shows small a detail from a nineteenth century engraving. Time has taken its toll on the sheet as we can clearly see. The image is covered with rather unpleasantly looking foxmarks. recolorST uses a unique algorithm that allows to complete the task with minimal damage to the image. You will find that the undesired coloration can be removed completely while the paper grain and the fine detail of the engraving remain virtually untouched.
